Android 14 Launch: New Features and Updates for Pixel Phones
Google has launched the new operating system, Android 14, along with its latest Pixel 8 series phones. This update comes with several exciting features, including improved security and accessibility options.
However, it's currently available only for Pixel phones. So, if you own a Pixel phone, you can try out the latest Android 14.
One of the notable additions in Android 14 is the inclusion of Generative AI tools. You can create unique lock screen wallpapers using these tools.
Unfortunately, other smartphone manufacturers haven't provided any information about when they will release Android 14 updates for their devices.
Which Smartphones Will Receive Android 14?
As of now, the latest Android operating system is accessible for Pixel 4a, Pixel 5, Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, and Pixel Fold. Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro were launched with Android 14.
However, in India, Pixel 5 series, Pixel 5a, and Pixel 6 series phones are not available. If you own any of these phones, you can update to the latest Android system by going to the settings menu, where you'll find the software update option.

Once you receive a notification for the Android 14 update, you'll also get information about its latest features.
Some of the new features include customizable lock screen clocks and shortcuts, monochrome color theme options, and proactive information collection.
Android 14 You'll also get several Generative AI features, although these updates may roll out gradually. Additionally, you can enable the screen flash feature, which makes your screen flash when you receive a notification.
Furthermore, you can use the Nearby feature to log in to websites or apps without typing passwords or email addresses.
