Under the guidance of DC Naresh Narwal, to commemorate Major Dhyan Chand Kushwah's birth anniversary, a marathon race and various sports competitions will be organized on August 29th at the Bhim Sports Stadium. District Sports Officer Dhirendra Singh provided this information and mentioned that, just like in previous years, this year as well, the hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand Kushwah's birth anniversary on August 29th will be celebrated as Sports Day, in collaboration with the Youth Program and the Ministry of Sports of the Indian Government, and the Sports Department of the Haryana Government.

He revealed that on this occasion, a marathon race will be conducted at the Bhim Stadium at 6:30 AM on August 29th. In addition to this, there will be a men's sack race for age groups 18 to 40, 40 to 60, and above 60. He also informed that hockey and volleyball matches will be organized, and a mini football (3 vs 3) match will take place at the Alkhpura Football Ground."
